LET US TELL YOU A LITTLE ABOUT OURSELVES
Who are we?
We are followers of Jesus who are passionate about loving and knowing God, and we want to live our lives for Him. We come from a several range of backgrounds and cultures, and though we are all in many ways very different, we are united by our shared love for Jesus. We're a multicultural 'family' with a desire to serve God, connect with each other, and bless
our local community. We are proud to be member of the Lovridge Churches of New Zealand.
Mission
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you.(Matthew 28:19~20)"
We have this phrase we like to use when we think about who we are, what we do,
and what we care about.
It goes like this: Connecting God and Community.
We strive to be people who live out our faith in God
in community with each other, and share our faith
and our lives with people in our wider local community of Ngāruawāhia and beyond.
Vision
Lovridge Church is a community that
fulfills the mission of a Bridge.
We are connecting GOD(Love) and people.
In particular, we have a vision to lead Māori families
to salvation by nurturing and educating Māori children who are not cared for at home, and training them
as Young Missionaries in response to the call
for Māori evangelization.
